Minimum of two years in casino Hard or Soft Count Operations
Prior supervisory experience
Must possess the ability to lead, direct, counsel and coach subordinates
Ability to communicate with all levels
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
Must have math skills
Ability to execute instructions in a professional, timely and concise manner
Ability to train, evaluate and coach employees
Prepare and issue annual performance appraisals
License Requirements:
Must be able to be licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise Drop Team staff and participate when necessary in the Soft Count drop process ensuring the integrity of the drop and compliance with regulatory Policies and Procedures
Obtain and maintain control of appropriate keys
Generate reports as required by Management
Establish and maintain good rapport with co-departments in order to deal with problems as they may arise
Ensure that the inventory of supplies is adequate and that all machinery is in good working order
Be available to work any hours and days as needed including holiday's and weekends.
Ability to participate and encourage a team environment
Responsible for maintaining confidentiality, safety, and security standards
Ability to train staff
Ability to create and implement Policy and Procedure as required and adhere to all regulatory mandates
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Constant knowledge of all related Policies and Procedures
Constant fast and accurate money handling capabilities
Constant twisting, turning, bending, standing for long periods, manual dexterity and good vision
Ability to work primarily grave shift along with other shifts as is necessary
Working Conditions:
Work requires the essentials of speed and accuracy
Exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise
