Manager, Software Engineering

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for designing the architecture, building the software, deploying, and scaling solutions.
• Responsible for hiring and leading a team of software and data engineers responsible for building high performing applications that interact with large scale distributed systems.
• Define product roadmaps, suggest new initiatives, and present software solutions to business problems.

What you bring to the table:

• Large-scale system design and architectural expertise.
• Ability to ensure design meets requirement and deliver high quality work on tight schedules.
• Ability to build autonomous teams and grow the teams to operate at scale.
• Excellent programming skills and computer science fundamentals (OO Design, data structures & algorithms, problem solving)
• Demonstrated success in designing large scale big data systems that perform complex event processing.

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including management of team and direct staff

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Prior experience in building greenfield software products - inception to launch and beyond.
• Experience building applications on one or more public Cloud Platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience designing and implementing highly reliable, fault-tolerant distributed applications with a heavy emphasis on low-latency and scale
