We are searching for a Cook to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: prepare and cook a variety of food, monitor food produced for quality, temperature and flavor; identify any issues via tasting, portioning and visual appearance and make corrections as needed; accurately extend recipes to ensure proper yields and maintain meal costs; practice and enforce sanitation policies, etc. Keep production and temperature records up to date and report any problems to the Manager on duty. Ensure all refrigerators and freezers are clean and organized. Provide functional and technical leadership of assigned department personnel. On Weekends and Holidays, and in the absence of a Manager, lead daily operations of Food Services in order to ensure efficient and effective functioning. Provide access to cash for retail staff. Consult with Manager on duty as needed.
