Compensation Range : $47,500-$66,400/yr, based on experience and location

The Site Developer prospects new sites within our largest accounts to penetrate, reactivate, onboard and ramp customer sites. Site Developers engage customers remotely by phone, video, and digital communication to expand sales into additional sites (below the HQ/master) as well as facilitating introductions to our Key Account Executives and category experts for more complex business needs. This role is part of a team and does not have assigned accounts. It is a high velocity sales position that leverages a prioritized call list to drive engagement activities and then manages their opportunities through the sales funnel.

What you'll be doing:

  • Consistently meet activity goals and daily metrics - outbound dials, sell time, live contacts, and created opportunities.
  • Manage sales funnel to close opportunities
  • Utilizes professional selling skills to discover incremental and programmatic opportunities
  • Effectively communicates Staples value propositions, capabilities, products, and assortments across all categories
  • Capable of overcoming objections to close/win new business
  • Utilize prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities and drive efficiency, as well as to document customer engagement and information (ex: Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
  • Effectively work with customer support, Customer Support Managers, Key Account Executives and Category Specialists to close/win deals and ensure seamless onboarding and set up of new sites and users.
  • Drive growth through site compliance campaigns of largest customers

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of successful sales experience or success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience and proven track record of business development
