Postdoctoral Fellow in Alzheimer's Disease Data Science

We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and independent postdoctoral fellow to join the MassGeneral Institute for Neurodegenerative Institute Data Science (MINDDS) lab located in Central Square in Cambridge, MA, with an appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS). The successful candidate will be working with an interdisciplinary team of researchers at the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (MADRC) to develop innovative deep learning approaches and apply those to electronic health records to advance Alzheimer's disease research. The candidate will be expected to research and develop novel computational and statistical methods, work cooperatively with various members of the MADRC, publish actively, and present results at conferences. Required skills
Candidate must have received (or expect to receive soon) a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
* Skills in statistical and machine-learning data analytic methods
Proficient in R and/or Python
* Experience working with genetics and omics data is preferred
* Knowledge of neuroscience/neurology is a plus
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work both independently and in teams
