Job Title: RN & LPN (36 Hours per Week)
Location: Pembroke, MA 02359
Hours: Sunday: 8am-12pm, Monday: 8am-4pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 9am-5pm
Salary: From $35/hour
Summary of Position:
Responsible for providing health care services to residents including identifying and monitoring medical status, coordinating medical services, and other similar duties necessary for residents' healthcare and safe environment.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide nursing care to NEV residents. Serve as contact with staff, residents, families, and physicians concerning medical/nursing related issues.
  • Member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide continuous assessment and care of resident medical issues.
  • Arrange for and accompany resident as necessary to appointments with health care professionals.
  • Provide medical status for resident's annual physicals.
  • Ensure safe and proper storage medications in each house. Conduct periodic reviews including documentation requirements. Review medication sheets and maintain in an up-to-date manner.
  • Complete required documentation and necessary records, files, and documents.
  • Provide nursing care at other NEV programs as necessary.

Knowledge and Experience Required:
Valid license/certification as an RN or LPN in the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
Over 1 year and up to and including 3 years of progressive learning experience.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Performs diversified nursing duties using various nursing procedures and practices which require the use of judgment in specific situations to determine actions to be taken within limits of established nursing procedures.
Work with confidential data such as individual case records which if disclosed inadvertently could have significant internal effect or minor external effect.
