Job Description
YOUR MISSION
  • PUMA North America reporting and Financial Planning consolidation:
    • Create and run consolidated HFM reports on an ad-hoc basis and monthly
    • Support in the preparation of the Finance department presentations (Monthly business reviews, Budget presentations, Ad hoc analysis)
  • Financial controlling of PUMA's Joint Venture with United Legwear:
    • Prepare operational sales and margin reporting; analyze trends vs. budget figures and deviation vs. prior year results
    • Review month-end financial reports from the Joint Ventures and prepare submission in HFM
    • Provide insight on financial results to Global Finance team for monthly reporting
    • Prepare consolidated financial reports and assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial presentations
    • Partner with Joint Venture colleagues in creating annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ad hoc internal control assignments and formalization of procedures
  • Support in the preparation for external audit (coordination of communication with external auditors and support in the preparation of the documentation)
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA Brand Values (Brave, Confident, Determined and Joyful) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices

YOUR TALENT
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2 years of experience in a Big Four Accounting Firm
  • Strong analytical and data organizational skills required
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of Management, subsidiaries and Parent Company
  • Detail-oriented working style and high accuracy in preparing budget reports while adhering to set deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills required and HFM knowledge
  • Team player attitude is critical
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Confidential approach to sensitive information
  • Some travel required
