Training/Education Analyst - Blood Bank/Transfusion Service Software

Remote US

The Education Analyst is a Trainer responsible for the implementation, delivery, and maintenance of software product training materials and programs. In this role, you will coordinate and conduct user level training of software applications for Blood Bank/Transfusion Services with the client project team and with external clients/hospital personnel. You will also work closely with technical staff to ensure compliance with protocols and FDA regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing training of software applications for client users/hospital employees, including;

  • Teaching new and existing customers how to use Haemonetics software applications.

  • Working with client project team to develop project education plans for clients.

  • Coordinating deployment of education resources within project timelines.

  • Providing feedback to business unit management concerning customer comments and software performance.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the applications of new and existing software and competitive products.

  • Providing training history by maintaining customer training records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Lab Systems or Medical Technologies or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in a blood bank or transfusion service environment

  • Strong customer service, training and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.

  • Ability to travel 75% of the time, mostly by plane, to visit our clients at hospital sites, including occasional weekends or short notice trips.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a trainer in a medical discipline (preferably Transfusion Medicine).

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong customer service, training and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.

  • Clear understanding of software course facilitation and adult learning methodology.

  • Excellent educational, platform, computer and management skills.

  • FDA regulated experience, along with image manipulation for educational applications, is a plus.

  • Train the trainer experience is desirable.

  • Experience developing curriculum goals using varied delivery methods (facilitated classes, e-learning, web conferences), along with outcome assessment tools, is a plus.

  • Experience managing multiple educational projects simultaneously is a plus.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, "flexible time off" for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks' vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

The base salary range for this role is:

$63,385.00-$85,651.00/Annual
