Who is Senior Metal Bellows?

Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Our 115,000 square-foot manufacturing facility is conveniently located on Route 1 in Sharon, Massachusetts.

What is the Position?

Under minimal supervision, execute and complete maintenance and repairs on various electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic production equipment. Input repair status using the Company's designated CMMS software. Responsible for completing repairs on the scheduling plan while meeting quality standards and on-time delivery.

What are the key responsibilities?

Essential Elements:

1. Troubleshoot and perform a variety of complex corrective maintenance mechanical repairs on plant facilities and manufacturing equipment.
2. Perform regular mechanical preventive maintenance tasks on plant facilities and manufacturing equipment as defined by the Company's preventive maintenance database.
3. Coordinate any corrective or preventive mechanical maintenance repairs normally performed by outside contractors, if necessary.
4. Complete electronic purchases of supplies necessary to complete maintenance tasks using vendor base set up by purchasing department.
5. Attend daily Facilities Team meetings to coordinate timely response to manufacturing issues and ensure timely communication to appropriate Leadership.
6. Maintain corrective and preventative maintenance documentation as required.
7. Assist with periodic scrap metal pick-ups from manufacturing areas and coordinate transfer and shipment to local scrap metal recycler.
8. If necessary, assist with clearing and de-icing walkways in winter months in order to provide safe access to facility.

What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?

• HS Diploma, 1 to 3 years of applied training in a particular or specialized occupation
• 3-5 years experience
