POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the development of creative visuals for the company in alignment with brand and design standards. The successful candidate will have excellent large layout and graphic design skills and the ability to develop visuals that amplify messaging and enhance corporate reputation. The person in this position reports to the Strategic Proposal Group Manager and is responsible for the advancement of visuals within proposals and client interviews as part the company's Inside Sales Business Development Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design layout: leading visual storytelling of strategic proposals and statement of qualifications, including page layout, creation of templates, development of information design such as infographics, figures, charts, illustrations and diagrams.
  • Design oral presentations: understanding of various communication delivery methods and techniques. Create complex PowerPoint presentations involving animation and visual storytelling.
  • Organization and communication: sharing screens live-time, storyboard, generate thumbnail roughs, using whiteboard and/or digital formats. Deconstruction and archiving for retrieval and reuse later is critical.
  • Virtual communication platforms: Understanding various platforms is essential (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
  • Design skills: Collaborating, discussing, brainstorming and implementing complex communication challenges with clients and pursuit teams is a must. Execute concept refinements and implementation through use of Adobe Creative Cloud on PC platform. Determine size and arrangement of material and copy, set typography, arrange layout based on upon company visual identity/design aesthetic and knowledge of layout principles.
  • Supports company efforts to improve brand consistency and awareness.
  • Adheres to brand and design quality standards and educates members on standards and guidelines.
  • Support client deliverables as needed.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphics Arts required
  • At least 12 years of related experience
  • Strong design skills (portfolio review required)
  • Proficiency in the following software required:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the member is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk; and hear. The member is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The member may have to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Base Compensation: $69,700 - $90,400
