We are seeking a creative and analytical Talent Analyst with a passion for analytics and storytelling to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our Center of Excellence (COE) by extracting insights from talent data and effectively communicating the value of our initiatives through compelling narratives and presentations. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career eager to combine their analytical skills with storytelling abilities to drive impact within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the COE team to gather and analyze talent data, including recruitment metrics, employee turnover, and performance evaluations.
  • Extract actionable insights from data analysis and craft compelling narratives demonstrating the value of our COE initiatives.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to effectively communicate the impact of talent management strategies to stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced PowerPoint skills to create visually engaging presentations that showcase talent analytics insights and COE achievements.
  • Develop storytelling frameworks and templates to streamline the presentation creation process.
  • Ensure presentations are tailored to the needs and preferences of different audiences, such as senior leadership or department heads.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, relevant field, or equivalent experience in data analytics.
  • Two plus years of analytical storytelling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data effectively.

Skills/Abilities/Other Details:

  • Exceptional storytelling abilities with a demonstrated ability to translate data into compelling narratives.
  • Excellent reporting and data visualization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to plan and execute projects with sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous internship or coursework in HR, talent management, or analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds, and levels within the organization.
  • Must be able to work independently, and exercise discretion, sound judgment, and strict confidentiality.
  • Highly polished and professional demeanor - high level of diplomacy and discretion
  • Creative, self-motivated; strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Resourceful
  • Tolerance for ambiguity
  • Able to plan and initiate new activities.
  • Occasional local travel to Mass General Brigham sites
