Overview

As a Staff Consultant in the Civil/Site Practice for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll collaborate with our project teams to design site layouts, erosion and sedimentation and stormwater management controls, prepare utility and grading plans, and develop project details and specifications under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer. In collaboration with internal team members, you will work on all aspects of projects - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction. You will work with other disciplines, including our Geotechnical, Ecological, Environmental, and Surveying Practices to support projects.

As a Staff Consultant, you will be provided with a broad range of project experiences to expand your technical knowledge, develop your communication skills, and establish a foundation for future career growth. You will partner with our management teams to customize your individual career path through a variety of professional development and mentoring activities.

Applicants will have an option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.

Qualifications
    B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) required (M.S. a plus); from ABET accredited undergraduate program preferred; and
    Engineer in Training certification (EIT) preferred.
  • 0-2 years' experience or previous internship/co-op experience; and
  • AutoCAD and Civil3D experience a plus; and
  • Prior internship and/or related engineering experience preferred; and
  • Interest in Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Renewables,Solid Waste, and Manufacturing client sectors; and
  • Ability to learn quicky and problem solve in a professional setting; and
  • Ability to collaborate in team environments
