Manages and coordinates all daily activities of the CT department, acting as liaison between individual sub-departments. Provides guidance and instruction, communicating and administering policies and procedures. Performs clinical and/or administrative functions necessary to the efficient operation of the department. Coordinates the training program of new staff either hired into CT or being cross-trained.

Responsibilities
- 1. CT Competency for each Procedure
- 1.1 Performs clinical assessment & diagnostic accurate examination.
- 2. Management of Staff
- 2.1 To assure staff Technologists report to and leaves work on time.
- 3. Communication
- 3.1 Gather, interprets and delivers information to staffing in a timely fashion (i.e. email).
- 4. Time Management
- 4.1 Works timely, efficiently, independently and completes all tasks.
- 5. Professional Responsibilities
- 5.1 Attends monthly supervisor meetings.
- 6. Equipment Competencies
- 6.1 Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and notify appropriate personal.
- 7. Stocking & Cleaning Competencies
- 7.1 Room is neat and supplies are always stocked.
- 8. Reviews Requisitions, Charts, Orders
- 8.1 Reviews MD orders prior to start of exam to ensure correct exam is being done.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
In the absence of a bachelor's degree, five years experience is required.
EXPERIENCE
Must have three years technical experience. Prior supervisory experience required ' preferably 3 plus years.
LICENSURE
CPR certification (BLS) required (ARRT), preferably (R) (CT)(ARRT) and a State of Rhode Island License. .
