Washington Trust Wealth Management has an opportunity for a Wealth Advisor to join its team of dedicated wealth management professionals. The Wealth Advisor is a major contributor to the organization's strategy, growth, and continued reputation of providing exceptional service and advice to our clients.

This position is one of the client-facing members of a team focused on providing advice and counsel to individuals and their families. As part of this team, you will focus on proactive relationship management, excellent client service, and customizing goals-based financial planning solutions and strategies for the team's clients.

Specifically, with your team, you will work with clients to develop and update comprehensive financial plans, manage customized investment portfolios, and nurture and grow relationships to help Washington Trust become our clients' financial home.

This position is remote or hybrid within MA, RI, and CT.

Additional responsibilities include:

* Excellent client service, including proactive outreach and ensuring that clients have the peace of mind

provided by a comprehensive plan and professional team caring for their needs.

* Financial planning advice, strategies, and solutions on a wide range of issues, including tax planning,

charitable giving, trust and estate planning, health and other insurance planning, retirement planning

(including qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, social security, and equity-based compensation.

* Investment portfolio management, including identifying investment objectives and risk tolerance,

customizing asset allocation based on the client's goals, and ongoing review to ensure that the portfolio

investments continue to meet the intent and objectives of the client.

* Thought leadership and new business development based on the candidate's skill set and comfort

level (e.g. writing, seminars, networking with referral sources, presentations to prospects).

This position requires a combination of experience, expertise, and knowledge sufficient to provide senior financial planning advice, portfolio management, and excellence in client service. Some experience in a financial services company with a focus on wealth management and/or financial planning is required, as well as an active CFP certification. 5-7 years' relevant experience is desirable.
