Career Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Littleton, MA.

Hybrid Schedule: 3-4 days per week on-site

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.

Position Summary: Workers Federal Credit Union (WCU) has an incredible opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Department. As our Senior Financial Analyst, you will manage a wide variety of financial tasks, supporting our financial and regulatory reporting, Treasury, and Asset & Liability Management functions.

General Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual budget, alongside the Credit Union's CFO and Controller, measuring monthly actual performance against plan.
  • Lead the Credit Union's monthly budget plan, coordinating ongoing meetings with other leaders, preparing reports and other deliverables to present results.
  • Assist in the monthly financial reports for the Senior Leadership Team, department leaders, ALCO committee, and Pricing Committee.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the Credit Union's quarterly asset liability model with external consultants.
  • Prepare cash flow and liquidity projections.
  • Oversee loan and collateral positions with the FRB & FHLB.
  • Manage the portfolio of brokered certificates of deposit.
  • Administer all investment and borrowing transactions, including documentation of required approvals.
  • Monitor liquidity, Interest Rate Risk, basic surplus and other metrics to ensure the on-going long-term stability of the credit union and for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare various reports for management, board of directors, and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive key metrics for performance reporting and dashboards.
  • Coordinate periodic testing of contingent funding sources.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Five+ years' experience at a Bank or Credit Union in an accounting or finance role required.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting or related field required.
  • Understanding of budgeting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an advanced excel skillset
