We are searching for a Registered Nurse for the Wound Care Center to perform a variety of duties involving case management of assigned patients including but not limited to wound care and other clinical activities associated with providing safe patient care. Responsible for periodic evaluation of assigned patient plan of care and in collaboration with Physician establish an alternate plan as needed. Participate in patient and wound care data conferences and continuing education as determined by Program Director and Market Director. All clinicians working in the Wound Center must perform their job responsibilities in accordance to all Healogics policies and standard work, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, and federal and state regulations as applicable. A minimum of one-year related work experience in wound care is required.

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Hours: 40 hours

Shift: DAY, 7:45AM - 4:15PM as dictated by needs of the business, staffing or patient volume.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • A minimum of one-year related work experience in wound care required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification (WOCN) or Wound Certification is preferred.
  • Completion of Healogics orientation program is required upon 6 months of hire. This may require attendance of orientation program at Healogics corporate office in Jacksonville, FL and/or via online training modules to demonstrate competence. Annual competency is managed by the annual Healogics process.
  • May require travel to/from other Hospital based Wound Care Centers to complete orientation and competency requirements.
  • Previous attendance at Healogics' Nurse Course in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine is preferred or training must be completed within 6 months of hire
