Job Description
Description

Overview:

At the Harvey Cushing Neuro-Oncology Laboratories, within the Department of Neurosurgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital, our research is focused on the developmental immunotherapy with tumor-permissive oncolytic viruses and tumor immune mechanisms governing highly immune tolerance and resistance in brain tumors. We use advanced DNA manipulation and animal models in conjunction with the latest molecular and immunological tools in our investigation of brain tumor and immunity. We are looking for an energetic and highly organized research assistant interested in various biological and immunological experiments, including plasmid DNA, RNA, genome extraction, (RT-)PCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, virus, cell culture, and other essential molecular biological experiments.
